Analysis of Vibration Signals at Different Measurement Points of the Ultra-High Voltage Shunt Reactors

Ultra-high voltage shunt reactors serve as essential inductive components in UHV power grids, where their vibration signals provide critical operational status indicators. However, challenges in measurement point selection persist during vibration signal acquisition. This study developed a dedicated vibration testing platform for a scaled-down test UHV reactor, employing voltage regulation through the autotransformer to collect vibration signals from multiple measurement points. A data acquisition system captured vibration data across varying voltage levels and measurement locations. The investigation analyzed time-frequency variations in vibration signals to characterize their properties under different electrical and spatial conditions. These findings establish experimental foundations for condition monitoring strategies and optimal measurement point selection in ultra-high voltage shunt reactors.
