An adaptive line length burst waveform detector based on SVMD and EMD
The brain diseases of infants have a significant impact on their life safety, neurological development, and other issues. A safe, fast, and accurate infant brain disease detection device can effectively detect the occurrence of diseases and provide assistance for clinical doctors' diagnosis. The unique phenomenon of burst suppression in neonatal EEG is closely related to neonatal brain diseases. This article proposes an adaptive line length method based on SVMD and EMD for detecting burst waveforms in neonatal EEG, and compares their AUC values at different levels of HIE. The adaptive line length method based on SVMD achieved an AUC value of 0.749 in all data and 0.933 in extremely severe patients, demonstrating good performance.
