Correlation of typology of state policy typology and state regulation

The article deals with the study of state policy typology and the justification of the relationship between the type and the kind of government policy and state regulation. The main criteria by which types and directions of state policy are classified are summarized here – by scale, direction, spheres of implementation, content, nature of influence, time frame, chronological feature, value orientation, style of solving social problems and relationships between agents of political activity, the body of power that forms or implements state policy, the mechanism of its dissemination. It is established that the kind of state policy corresponds to the direction of state regulation. It is noted that individual varieties of state policy according to different classification features can partially overlap and combine, forming appropriate mixes. It is substantiated that the typology of state policy helps governments to manage the country more successfully and citizens better understand the actions of the authorities. It has been established that the impact of state policy on the quality of state regulation is demonstrated by the following aspects: clarity and systematicity of regulation, optimization of resources, flexibility in responding to challenges, increasing transparency and accountability, and communication efficiency. The most successful types and kinds of implemented state policy in turbulent periods of development of world economies are summarized. The chronology of the main types and kinds of implementations of state policy in the history of socio-economic and political development of Ukraine is presented. It is noted that the urgent challenges faced by the economies of the world economy and, in particular, Ukraine, are environmental, digitalization and security. Modern world political trends that influence the implementation of state regulation in Ukraine are proposed. It is concluded that with a certain universal set of regulatory instruments, a policymaker must be a creator with a scientific approach to combining them and searching for new ones to find the right state-political solution and demonstrate his professionalism to the society, his patriotism, ability to act, convince the society to trust and follow him to achieve the maximum degree of relevance.
