A Barrier-Removing Game System Related to Trigonometry

Incorporating fun into learning is an essential means to improve mathematical performance. Using a game-based method, students can learn math easily as they learn how to use math in their daily lives. Learning math games significantly improves students' understanding of components that must be memorized while acquiring a conceptual mathematical understanding. This study developed a barrier-removing game system using Roblox and integrated trigonometry into the castle scenario so that students could answer related math questions. The findings indicate sound gamification effects related to trigonometry in the digital life Roblox game. The students felt that gameplay learning effectively improved learning outcomes and that learning trigonometry through gaming was helpful to their daily lives.
