Genetic epidemiology of Plasmodium falciparum chloroquine resistance in coastal, North and Far North areas of Cameroon
This study suggests a return to chloroquine susceptibility geographically restricted in the coastal region. The high circulation of the genotype CVIET in North and Far North areas calls for investigations of factors contributing to the persistence of chloroquine-resistant strains.
