Seamless Transition of Islanded Pv-Battery DC Microgrid Based on Voltage Regulation
This paper proposes a seamless transition strategy for DC microgrids based on cubic Bézier curve voltage regulation function, which achieves smooth mode switching in PV-battery systems by dynamically adjusting the voltage reference of droopcontrolled converters. The system operation states are categorized into PV-dominating mode (PDM) and storage-dominating mode (SDM) according to the bus voltage. By utilizing the designed regulation function to control the voltage reference of droopcontrolled converters, mode transition is accomplished while ensuring system stability. The proposed strategy significantly reduces the DC bus voltage fluctuation during mode switching and requires no additional hardware components. The effectiveness of the control strategy under various load conditions is validated through simulations.
