Research on the Integration of Strip Pv Along the Electrified Railways Into Ac Traction Substation
To achieve green power supply for electrified railways (ERs) and enhance the utilization efficiency of strip photovoltaic (SPV) along the ERs, this paper presents a two-phase integration architecture for SPV aggregated via 10 kV railway power transmission line (RPTL) into traction power supply system (TPSS). First, based on the characteristics of SPV along the ERs, a two-phase integration architecture for TPSS through the 10 kV RPTL is proposed. Furthermore, a circuit topology for the energy dispatching controller (EDC), serving as the critical power converter, is proposed to enable bidirectional energy flow between the traction network and RPTL. Building upon the novel integration architecture and circuit topologies, this paper proposes coordinated converter control strategy and energy management strategy to achieve efficient PV energy utilization while enhancing power quality in the traction network. Finally, the validity and feasibility of the proposed system and control strategy are verified through simulations and hardware-in-theloop (HIL) experiments.
