A low latency secure video request service scheme for mobile scenarios
The popularity of mobile devices and the surge in video applications have led to video transmission delays and user experience issues. Therefore, a low latency security service scheme called PPQCache is proposed to address the high latency and privacy leakage risks in mobile edge video services. This solution combines location prediction, user preference analysis, and Q-learning algorithm to optimize video caching decisions. When requested by users, PPQCache prioritizes obtaining videos from predicted area base stations to reduce core network latency. The caching strategy is based on location prediction and common preferences, dynamically adjusted using Q-learning, and privacy protection is achieved through HTTPS, differential privacy, and homomorphic encryption. Experiments have shown that compared to the benchmark algorithm, PPQCache improves cache hit rate by 22.8%, reduces transmission latency by 36.8%, and significantly improves user video experience.
