Model Pendampingan Berkelanjutan dalam Meningkatkan Kemandirian Ekonomi Masyarakat Gampong Siron, Kecamatan Ingin Jaya, Aceh Besar

Community empowerment is a core element in the implementation of the Village Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which aim to realize inclusive, competitive, and sustainable rural development. This community service activity was carried out in Gampong Siron, Kecamatan Ingin Jaya, Aceh Besar, using a participatory approach rooted in local potential. Since 2009, the service has involved facilitating development planning, conducting skills training for women, and developing village economic infrastructure such as rental houses and shops. The direct involvement of a university lecturer as a village facilitator has strengthened the synergy between higher education institutions and village governments in achieving the Village SDGs. As a result, the community-particularly women-has become more economically and socially independent. Programs such as the Women's Savings and Loan (SPP) initiative and technology-based training have empowered vulnerable groups. The success of the Village Revenue Unit (UPG) management illustrates the importance of transparent and professional governance in supporting sustainable rural development.
