Fault Location Method for Active Distribution Network Based on Multi-Source Electrical Information
As traditional distribution network evolves into active distribution network (ADN) and meteorological disasters caused by global climate change make distribution network faults more complex and diverse, fault location technology faces significant challenges. To address this, this paper proposes a fault location method based on multi-source electrical information for ADN. First, by integrating the information provided by the feeder terminal unit (FTU) and the micro-phasor measurement unit (<tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mu \text{PMU}$</tex>), four comprehensive logic criteria for fault location are established. Then, an analytical model for fault location in ADN is developed based on the logical criteria, and the optimal fault hypothesis is determined using the Tabu Search (TS) algorithm. Finally, simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
