Sequential Service Restoration for Urban Distribution Systems with Mobile Electric Vehicles
After a disaster-induced power outage in the urban distribution system, distributed power sources can be utilized to form microgrids (MGs) and sequentially restore the critical loads. The existing sequential service restoration (SSR) studies mainly utilize stationary distributed generators to recover the system from black conditions. With the development of electric vehicles (EVs), making full use of EVs can further improve the resilience of the urban distribution network. This paper proposes a microgrid-based SSR method considering the optimal allocation of EVs as mobile emergency sources. First, an integrated SSR model is proposed, where the EV allocation, MG configuration and restoration sequences are coordinated to maximize the weighted amount of load restoration. Then, nonlinear constraints in the original EV-assisted SSR model are further linearized to facilitate the solution. The effectiveness of the proposed model is validated by numerical simulations on modified IEEE-33 node test distribution system.
