Study on the Characteristics of Linear Motors with Magnetic Spring for Cryocoolers
Magnetic resonance linear compressors (MRLCs) play a critical role in the miniaturization and reliability enhancement of small-scale cryocoolers. In this study, a finite element analysis (FEA) system was employed to investigate the mechanism of the magnetic spring effect in magnetic resonance linear motors (MRLMs). The influence of motor dimensions on the magnetic spring was analyzed, and experimental tests were conducted to measure the magnetic spring force (MSF) of the motor. The experimental results were compared with simulation outcomes, validating the reliability of the simulation model. Furthermore, the integration of the MRLM into the pulse tube cryocooler demonstrates the feasibility of applying MRLMs in miniature cryocoolers.
