Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan (LDK) bagi Seminaris Tahun Orientasi Rohani Toraja
Facing the challenges of the ever-evolving era, the formation of seminarians (prospective priests) has become a very important aspect in the life of the Catholic Church. Prospective priests or seminarians need comprehensive formation as a form of preparation to become faithful and qualified priests in their pastoral work. The need for comprehensive formation is the basic reason for implementing the Basic Leadership Training (LDK) program for seminarians in the Archdiocese of Makassar. The Basic Leadership Training aims to provide seminarians with integral and relevant leadership skills. The training process includes various methods, namely needs assessment, material preparation, concept presentation, group dynamics, personal reflection, and evaluation. The results of the training showed positive changes experienced by the seminarians. They gained a new understanding of visionary leadership rooted in spirituality and service and showed high enthusiasm in participation and reflection. Thus, the results of the training showed that the implementation of basic leadership training has proven to be an effective program for seminarians to increase their awareness, skills, and commitment as prospective spiritual leaders who are able to serve with love and responsibility amidst the dynamics of modern society.
