Utilizing the Enhanced q-rung Ortho-Pair Fuzzy Number Ranking Technique for Assessing Telemedicine Diagnosis
Building upon the concepts of intuitionistic and Pythagorean fuzzy sets, the q-rung ortho-pair fuzzy set underscores the significance of its efficient ranking in decisionmaking processes involving q-rung ortho-pair fuzzy numbers. This paper provides a detailed review of the eight existing ranking methods for q-rung ortho-pair fuzzy numbers and critically analyzes their limitations. In light of these shortcomings, a novel formula for calculating the distance between q-rung ortho-pair fuzzy numbers is proposed. Additionally, an innovative ranking method is introduced, which emphasizes the construction of similarity functions based on the maximum and minimum values of q-rung ortho-pair fuzzy numbers, in conjunction with the new distance formula. The proposed method is rigorously validated through mathematical analysis, confirming its accuracy and reliability. Furthermore, the application of q-rung ortho-pair fuzzy numbers is explored in the context of telemedicine diagnostic evaluations, with a particular focus on the practical ranking of service quality across different telemedicine platforms, highlighting its real-world applicability.
