Research on Environmental Monitoring System Based on Wireless Sensor Network
In response to the increasing congestion and co channel interference in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, a new system combining WSN low-power 802.15.4 devices (operating in the 433 MHz frequency band) and 802.11 WiFi devices (operating in the 2.4 GHz frequency band) has been designed. This system not only meets the low-power requirements of wireless sensor networks, but also ensures smooth and reliable long-distance data communication. The purpose is to design and implement an intelligent system that can automatically monitor environmental information such as temperature and humidity, PM2.5, PM10, CO, formaldehyde, etc. Users can monitor locally or remotely, and notify the corresponding departments to take measures when the data exceeds the threshold. There is a one click configuration and automatic reconnection function in terms of network connection. After testing and use, the system does not require an upper computer, has low power consumption, and can achieve real-time monitoring of unmanned environments, with broad application prospects.
