Collaborative Optimization Control algorithm for Ground Source Heat Pump System and Building Energy Efficiency

With the global recognition of carbon neutrality goals, research and practice of near zero energy buildings have become an important issue at present. Heat pump technology, especially ground source heat pump technology, as a key technology in the field of near zero energy buildings, has attracted much attention due to its high efficiency, energy saving, and environmental protection characteristics. However, in practical operation, ground source heat pump systems (GSHP) often experience increased operating costs and energy consumption due to low control efficiency, which not only weakens the economic advantages of the system but also limits its promotion in near zero energy buildings. To solve the above problems, this study proposes an innovative collaborative optimization control algorithm based on particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm, aiming to achieve the synergistic improvement of GSHP and building energy efficiency. By comprehensively searching and optimizing the system control parameters, the algorithm successfully improved the operating efficiency of GSHP, significantly reduced energy consumption, and effectively controlled indoor temperature fluctuations in buildings, thereby enhancing the comfort and overall energy efficiency of the building. The experimental results show that after adopting this algorithm, the operating efficiency of GSHP has been significantly improved, and energy consumption has been significantly reduced.
