Enhance Hill Climbing Algorithm for Fast Scanning Detection Under Dynamic Irradiation
This paper proposes an enhanced P-&-O system designed to mitigate the drift problem. The approach integrates data on current changes, employs various step sizes during the decision-making process, accounts for power variations, and incorporates voltage changes. The new system is evaluated against the traditional $\mathrm{P}-\&-\mathrm{O}$ system under varying irradiance conditions to illustrate its benefits. The algorithm has been implemented on a DC-DC boost converter. MATLAB Simulink is employed to validate the suggested $\mathbf{P}-\boldsymbol\&-\mathbf{O}$. The findings demonstrate that the suggested P-&-O efficiently monitors peak power and reduces variations under diverse weather circumstances more expediently, surpassing the traditional $\mathbf{P}$ -$\&-\mathrm{O}$ system. The suggested $\mathrm{P}-\&-\mathrm{O}$ demonstrates improved dynamics.
