Construction and Simulation Analysis of Multi Physics Field Coupling Model for Lithium Battery Energy Storage Station

Lithium ion batteries (LIBs) have been widely used in various fields such as defense industry, transportation, household energy storage, and renewable energy grid connection due to their advantages of high energy density, high operating voltage, low self discharge rate, and fast charging and discharging capability. With the rapid development of renewable energy worldwide and the widespread construction of smart grids, lithium battery energy storage stations (LIBESS) play a crucial role in balancing power grid supply and demand fluctuations, improving electrical power system (EPS) stability, promoting efficient energy utilization, and responding to sudden energy demands. This article delves into the construction and simulation analysis methods of the multi physics field coupling model for LIBESS, and proposes a series of optimization designs and control strategies aimed at reducing the adverse effects of multi physics field coupling on LIBESS performance and improving the overall performance and reliability of energy storage systems. The experimental results indicate that the model proposed in this paper is of great significance for a deeper understanding of the complex behavior of energy storage systems, optimizing system design, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring system safety.
