Ecological Impacts of Lanternfish Based on Logistic and Lotka-Volterra Modeling

This paper explores the application of logistic and Lotka-Volterra models in biotope studies through adaptive sex ratio changes in lampreys and their ecological significance. Firstly, population models of female and male lampreys were considered by logistic modelling and trends in food consumption by sex ratio were predicted using the Runge-Kutta method. Then, the logistic model was optimised by introducing non-linear birth and death rates to construct models of lamprey sex ratio and population size. Finally, an ecological network model of multi-species interactions between phytoplankton, lamprey, lamprey prey and lamprey predators was constructed using the Lotka-Volterra model in combination with the logistic model. A new energy layer, parasites, was also introduced into the ecological network model and a new ecological network model was constructed to analyse the effects of changes in lamprey sex ratios on parasite population size. The study confirmed the accuracy and stability of the model under different parameters and provided insights into the complex interactions between lamprey sex ratio and ecosystem dynamics.
