Algorithm Application of BIM Technology in Building Carbon Emission Monitoring and Control
As an integrated management tool, BIM technology provides basic data for the calculation and analysis of carbon emissions in the life cycle of a building by integrating information such as geometry, materials and energy consumption of the building project. A BIM-based building carbon emission monitoring algorithm is developed. The algorithm extracts the geometric, material and energy consumption data of the building from the BIM model, and combines the carbon emission coefficient method to calculate the carbon emission of the building. The algorithm is applied in an office building project through case analysis, and the total carbon emission of the building is successfully calculated, which is integrated into the BIM model in the form of charts and reports, providing an intuitive view for carbon emission monitoring and control. In addition, the research also puts forward the design of low-carbon emission reduction scheme based on BIM technology, including optimizing the selection of building materials, construction methods and operation strategies, and monitoring and management of energy consumption. These applications not only improve the efficiency of energy use, but also help to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings, providing strong technical support for the sustainable development of the construction industry.
