“Psychological Consequences Of Pregnancy Complications: An Analytical Study On Anxiety And Depression Among Pregnant Women With Preeclampsia And Eclampsia In Selected Hospitals In Bareilly (U.P)”

Background of the Study Pregnancy complications, particularly preeclampsia and eclampsia, are significant health challenges that affect a considerable number of women worldwide. Preeclampsia is a hypertensive disorder that occurs after the 20th week of gestation and is characterized by high blood pressure and proteinuria, while eclampsia involves the onset of seizures in women with preeclampsia (Murray & Buist, 2018). These complications pose not only a threat to the physical health of the mother and child but also lead to various psychological consequences, including increased levels of anxiety and depression (Friedman et al., 2020).
