Econazole Nitrate Nanogels Formulated and Evaluated by Modified Emulsification Diffusion Technique to Treat Candidiasis

When using econazole nitrate in conventional drug delivery. This can waste the drug, reduce its bioavailability, and cause some side effects. A condition that can range from superficial to deeply invasive and systemic invasions, caused by infection with Candida species. In the current work, we created a nanogel using a modified emulsification diffusion method as a potentially effective topical drug delivery system for econazole nitrate. We then assessed the econazole nitrate using a number of parameters, including extrudability, spreadability, drug content, and physical appearance. Because of the polymers used, the in vitro release complied with zero order kinetics, exhibiting a release erosion mechanism followed by non-Fick Ian diffusion. Drug administration frequency can be decreased, bioavailability can be increased, and side effects can be decreased.

A condition that can range from superficial to deeply invasive and systemic invasions, caused by infection with Candida species. In the current work, we created a nanogel using a modified emulsification diffusion method as a potentially effective topical drug delivery system for econazole nitrate.
