THE ALLOWANCE CALCULATION SYSTEM FOR MACHINING PARTS

The development of information technologies affects all spheres of human life, including mechanical engineering, which, with the introduction of various information systems, is increasingly called digital engineering. However, many tasks performed by process engineers still have to be solved manually. In turn, the development of mechanical engineering requires process engineers to develop technological processes quickly and efficiently. Taking into account the development of information technologies, there is a need for a quick search for information and performing calculations necessary for the preparation of a technological process. There are many programs that simplify the work of technologists, such as Vertical, Compass-3D, Technologics, AutoCAD, but sometimes they are not enough. This is primarily due to a decrease in the size of parts, an increase in the complexity of their manufacture and increasing requirements for the quality of products, which directly affects the timing of the manufacture of parts and their cost. The combination of all these factors requires the development of existing ones and the creation of new engineering software. The allowance calculation system presented in this article is designed to solve one of the tasks of technologists – determining the allowance for mechanical processing of parts.
