Efficiency of digestion processes under the influence of different sources of lipids in the diet of broiler chickens

The aim of the research was to study the effect of adding soybean oil and fermented water-soluble complex of fatty acids to the diet of broiler chickens on the functional state and mass of internal organs, the activity of the main hydrolytic enzymes (proteolytic, amylolytic and lipolytic) and on the level of soluble proteins and amino nitrogen in the tissues of the liver, pancreas and duodenal mucosa. The studies were conducted in the vivarium of the State Research Control Institute of Veterinary Drugs and Feed Additives on four groups of broiler chickens of the Cobb-500 cross. As a result of the research, it was found that the addition of soybean oil and fermented water-soluble lipid complex positively contributed to the growth and development of broiler chickens. The mass of internal organs that regulate digestive processes corresponded to physiological norms by weight and was more tied to live weight, although in the experimental group there was a tendency to some increase. Determination of the activity of hydrolytic enzymes indicates a higher level of proteolytic activity in the pancreas. Lipase activity under the influence of fermented water-soluble lipid complex decreased in pancreatic tissue and duodenal chyme. In duodenal chyme, the level of proteolytic activity was higher by 18.65 %. A study of the content of soluble proteins and amino nitrogen in the tissues of the liver, pancreas, and duodenal mucosa indicates a lower level of these in the tissues of the pancreas and duodenal mucosa compared to the liver tissue. Adding fermented lipid complex to the diet instead of soybean oil contributed to some increase in the level of soluble proteins in the tissues of the liver and pancreas and the concentration of amino nitrogen in the duodenum.
