Dynamics of digestive enzyme activity under the influence of different sources of lipids in the diet of chickens

The aim of the research was to study the effectiveness of using fermented water-soluble lipid complex (ELC – essential lipid complex) in the amount of 0.4–1.0 % instead of soybean oil on the growth and development of young replacements of the Loman LSL-classic cross, digestive processes, in particular the activity of proteolytic, amylolytic, lipolytic enzymes and the concentration of amine nitrogen and soluble proteins in the tissues of the liver, pancreas and mucous membranes of the duodenum and glandular ventricle. As a result of the research, it was found that the addition of a fermented water-soluble lipid complex had a positive effect on the growth and development of chickens, in particular, in terms of live weight, chickens of all experimental groups met the requirements of the standard technology for the Loman LSL-classic cross. The use of the lipid complex contributed to better development of reproductive organs, in particular, ovaries by 4.19–11.24 and oviduct by 6.24–14.20 %, and reduced feed consumption during the growing period up to 112 days of age by 7.33 %. Determination of the activity of hydrolytic enzymes, in particular proteolytic, amylolytic and lipolytic enzymes in the tissues of the liver, pancreas and mucous membranes of the duodenum and glandular ventricle indicates the influence of fermented lipid concentrate on their activity. In particular, it was found that in the experimental groups, lipolytic activity was somewhat lower compared to the control group, which received natural soybean oil in the tissue of the pancreas and the mucosa of the duodenum and partially in the mucosa of the glandular ventricle. Proteolytic activity was higher in liver tissue, pancreas and partly in the mucosa of the duodenum and glandular ventricle. Amylolytic activity was higher in the mucosa of the duodenum. The concentration of amine nitrogen and soluble proteins was higher in the experimental groups of chickens. Replacing soybean oil with a fermented water-soluble complex of fatty acids is appropriate and economically beneficial.
