Research Hotspots, Methods, and Applications of International Land Ports Based on CiteSpace Knowledge Graph
Objective: International land ports (often referred to as dry ports or inland ports) have emerged as critical infrastructural nodes connecting global supply chains, multimodal transportation networks, and regional economies. This study aims to systematically explore and expand the state of knowledge surrounding international lan port research by using CiteSpace and other bibliometric methods to identif hotspots, methodological frameworks, and key application domains from 2004 to 2024. Methods: Onthe basis of bibliometric analysis and visualization techniques, the publications of "international inland ports" were collected from multiple comprehensive databases (such as WOS, Scopus and CNKI). We performed a visual analysis across dimensions by publication volume, authors, institutions, keywords, and clusterin and bursts. High-frequency keywords and co-cited literature were synthesized to summarize research hotspots and development trends. Results:Our findings reveal a steady escalation in publication volume over the last two decades and highlight multiple clusters of research centering on supply chain optimization, port-environment interactions, and policy-driven multimodal strategies.
