Evolutionary Game Analysis of Industry–University–Research Collaboration Projects with Knowledge Absorption Considerations
This research delves into how knowledge absorption efficiency impacts on collaborative behaviour within Industry–University–Research (IUR) partnerships through the lens of knowledge flow dynamics. Through the creation of an evolutionary game model involving academic institutions and enterprises based on knowledge absorption capacity analysis, numerical simulation techniques are adopted to investigate cooperation process trajectories under diverse parametric conditions. The findings reveal that strategies such as enhancing knowledge absorption capabilities, minimising knowledge collaboration and absorption expenses, and judiciously implementing reward and punishment mechanisms are instrumental in optimising IUR collaborative ventures. The establishment of resilient cooperation frameworks can elevate the renewal rates of collaborative projects, leading to advancements in science, technology, and industrial innovation.
