Dynamic Interaction Response Analysis of the Impact of Urbanization on Energy Consumption Intensity Based on Vector Autoregressive Model

In the new era characterized by the ever-changing digital wave and rapid advancements in computer technology, this paper employs time series data and utilizes Eviews and Stata software to construct VAR (Vector Autoregressive) models and regression models. It systematically analyzes the short-term dynamic fluctuations and long-term equilibrium trends between urbanization and energy consumption intensity. The research finds that the urbanization rate has a significant impact on itself, exhibiting a short-term positive and long-term negative leveling-off effect on energy consumption intensity. Conversely, energy consumption intensity contributes less to urbanization, whereas urbanization has a notable effect on reducing energy consumption intensity. Based on these findings, promoting the digitalization and intelligent transformation of the energy industry is crucial for facilitating coordinated, balanced, and sustainable development between urbanization and energy consumption.
