Enhancing Emotional Resilience in Step Learners Through the I-CARE Psychosocial Monitoring System: Evaluating its Efficiency and Applicability for Immediate Counseling and Support Interventions

In 2019, 970 million people globally were living with a mental disorder, with anxiety and depression the most common. It also a reason that 50% of students at every high school grade level cited depression, stress, and anxiety as obstacles to learning. This study entitled. Enhancing Emotional Resilience in Step Learners Through The I-Care Psychosocial Monitoring System: Evaluating Its Efficiency and Applicability for Immediate Counseling and Support Interventions with a Problem, 1. What is the efficiency level of the devised i-CARE Psychosocial Monitoring System in terms of performance and speed, reliability and stability, and user experience? 2. What is the applicability level of the i-CARE Psychosocial Monitoring System in terms of purpose and relevance, compatibility and integration, scalability and flexibility, usability and accessibility? and 3. What mechanism and process framework can be developed to maximize the utilization of the i-CARE Psychosocial Monitoring System? The study consists of a developmental approach (developing the software) and a descriptive approach (testing the design software) evaluated by Mean and Standard Deviation. It was conducted in Tacurong National High School with 167 STEP students enrolled in SY 2024-2025 using stratified random sampling, their advisers (8), and a guidance Counselor (1). Both were given survey questionnaire. Quantitative data were gathered through 4-point Likert-scale assessments measuring Efficiency and Applicability, and the instrument demonstrated excellent with a mean of 3.65. In light of the findings and conclusion, it is recommended that we devise and use platforms such as Next.js, Larabel, Python, and API for fast data queuing and using higher bandwidth. It is also recommended that Chat applications, call, and video conferencing be used to add functionalities. Finally, to fully maximize the study's potential, it is recommended that the designed utilization framework follow the study.
