Formulation and Evaluation of Anastrozole loaded proniosomes

One of the several carriers that can carry a drug molecule to its site of action is a pioniosome. Both hydrophilic and hydrophobic medications can be trapped by them. The aim and objective of the current research work was to investigate the suitability of formulate and evaluate of Anastrozole proniosomes for which is an anti cancer currently indicator for the treatment of patients with metastatic breast cancer. Entrapment efficiency, drug content, reproducibility, vesicular diameter, shape and size distribution microphotography, FTIR investigations, and in vitro release experiments were all assessed for each proniosome formulation. The findings imply that the entrapment efficiency rises with surfactant concentration in all developed niosomal formulations. The drug content had a low standard deviation and ranged from 61.35±0.13 to 65.43±0.27%. The size of Proniosomes was found 0.277±0.099μm to 0.294±0.044μm and the Proniosomes are spherical in shape. According to the IR spectrum study, the drug and formulation additives did not interact. Membrane diffusion cells were used to study the in vitro dissolution parameters. With a "n" value of 0.899, the results indicate that formulation F1 exhibits a better controlled release action than the other formulation, indicating that the drug was released using zero order kinetics.
