Technostress and Digital Detox: Mediation through Montessori Method and Experiential Learning in NEP 2020
Over the past three decades, a number of technologies, including computers, television, cell phones, and the internet, have changed people's perspectives on culture, health, entertainment, education, and the economy. One form of stress caused by the rapid advancement of technology and the need for adaptation is known as technostress. People who deal with technology may develop a mental condition known as technostress. Criag Brod, a clinical psychologist, was the first to employ it in the early 1980s. Digital Detox can be taken as one of the probable solution to technostress. A digital detox is a period of time during which a person refrains from utilizing social media and devices. Academically, this problem ca be sorted by the use of experiential learning. This paper is an attempt to find probable solution of learners effected by technostress and how Montessori method and experiential learning can benefit learning and help digital detox.
