COMBINED SYSTEM FOR REGULATING THE OPERATING MODES OF A VACUUM COLUMN

In the petroleum and petrochemical industry, where the main technological apparatuses are rectification columns, the choice of the monitoring and regulating method for the rectification processes in conditions where the quality characteristics determine raw materials and the resulting products using technical means of automatic monitoring is impossible is very important. It is known that the rectification process controls the to maintain a given clarity of the raw materials division into separate fractions (or products) and is mainly associated with a change in the irrigation consumption supplied to the corresponding selected rectification column plate In conditions of the automatic monitoring absence for the quality of raw materials and the products received on the flows, the determining the optimal values problem of the settings to the regulator (irrigation consumption) is solved based on laboratory tests or based on the so-called “indirect” information characterizing the technological process. As indirect information, the values of the regime column parameters are used: temperature (or temperature differences) at various column points, pressure in the column, the consumption of raw materials and the products received, the consumption and temperature of the irrigation, the coolant and the resulting cubic residue products, etc., and various combinations of these technological parameters. The main disadvantage of known control methods is their excessive complexity, and, accordingly, low reliability, since there is a need to measure and process information coming from many sensors and converters. At the same time, algorithms for calculating the corrective (setting) influences on the regulator are based on the functional dependencies used, the parameters of which are usually evaluated by statistical methods that do not take into account the changing conditions of the technological process. In this regard, the developing the proposed method aim is the need to reduce the probability of producing substandard products, that is, to improve technical and economic indicators by increasing the reliability and noise immunity of traditional methods achieved by reducing its elemental base and simplifying the algorithm for calculating the corrective signal. Keywords: rectification column, control system, automatic regulation, setpoint action, irrigation consumption, adaptive regulator, combined system, disturbing impact.
