Khảo sát tình trạng viêm nha chu ở Công nhân Công ty Trách nhiệm Hữu hạn Almus Vina, tỉnh Phú Thọ năm 2024-2025

Periodontitis is a common chronic inflammatory disease that significantly affects masticatory function and quality of life, particularly among manual laborers—individuals with limited access to dental services and insufficient oral health knowledge. This study was conducted on 245 workers at Almus Vina Co., Ltd. (Phu Tho), revealing a high prevalence of periodontitis (42.1%), including 23.3% at a moderate level (CPI = 3) and 18.8% at a severe level (CPI = 4) only 19,2 % is not periodontitis. Common symptoms included persistent halitosis and gingival bleeding during tooth brushing. Several factors such as tooth brushing frequency, lack of dental floss use, occupational stress, and exposure to chemicals were closely associated with the disease. These findings underscore the urgent need to strengthen oral health care for the core labor force, thereby contributing to sustainable socio-economic development. Keywords: periodontitis, workers, dental disease.
