Hội hoạ hoành tráng trong môi trường không gian công cộng
Monumental murals in public spaces represent a grand-scale visual art form crafted directly onto architectural surfaces like walls, ceilings, building exteriors, or urban expanses. Beyond their aesthetic allure, these artistic expressions serve as vital conduits for communicating cultural, historical, and communal identities. Against the backdrop of swift urban expansion, monumental murals play a pivotal role in enhancing the visual landscape, bolstering community involvement, and nurturing an appreciation for cultural heritage conservation. This paper scrutinizes the attributes, functions, growth prospects, and current hurdles associated with implementing monumental murals in public spaces across Vietnam. It further delineates pathways for integrating this form of art into art education curricula and sustainable urban design methodologies. Keywords: Monumental Murals, Public Art, Public Spaces.
