Titanium‒Nickel Dual Active Sites Enabled Reversible Hydrogen Storage of Magnesium at 180 °C with Exceptional Cycle Stability (Adv. Mater. 26/2025)
Mg-Based Hydrogen Storage Materials Hydrogen storage of magnesium involves complicated reaction kinetics at the gas-solid interfaces. Utilizing Ti-MgO and Mg2Ni multiphase catalysts, hydrogen adsorption, dissociation, diffusion and nucleation steps are simultaneously accelerated. It enables a reversible hydrogen storage reaction at 180 °C at least for 1000 cycles. More details can be found in article number 2500178 by Yangfan Lu, Qun Luo, Qian Li, and co-workers.
