Closed‐Loop Recyclable Polyhexahydrotriazine Aerogels Derived From PET Waste (Small 26/2025)
Plastic Waste Plastic waste, especially PET, poses a serious environmental challenge, with millions of tons accumulating every year. In article number 2502885, Željko Tomović and co-workers demonstrate how this waste can be repurposed for the preparation of high-performance organic aerogels that exhibit low bulk density, excellent insulation properties, and closed-loop recyclability. By upcycling PET into valuable materials, we bridge the gap between innovation and sustainability, contributing to a greener, more circular future.
