NIR‐Induced Photoswitching Hybrid DNA Nanoconstruct‐Based Drug Delivery System for Spatiotemporal Control of Stem Cell Fate (Small 26/2025)
Drug Delivery Within nanomedicine, efficient control and predictable release of drug payloads are crucial to therapeutic efficacy. Opposing passive drug release, light is an attractive tool for controlling biological functions, offering unparalleled temporal and spatial precision. Leveraging this potential, the combination of photo-responsive DNA nanostructures and up-conversion nanoparticles capable of harnessing near-infrared signals presents a promising avenue for finely tuning dynamic and intricate stem cell fate regulation.
