Comparative Optoelectronic Properties of Rhodanine N‐Glucoside‐Derived Conjugated Systems
Rhodanine‐derived conjugated systems, incorporating N,N ‐diphenylamine and extended with either furan or thiophene, are glycosylated through the nitrogen atom of the rhodanine ring. The optoelectronic properties of these dyes are investigated, revealing that the presence of glucose does not negatively impact their beneficial properties. Additionally, solar cells are built using these systems, demonstrating their photovoltaic capabilities.
