A methodological approach to organizing innovative production management at a coal company

This paper describes the applicability and main provisions of the methodological approach to organizing innovative production management at a coal company. We have proposed the notion of the innovative production management as the system of organizing and managing the production activities of coal mining companies, where the personnel is an active subject which carries out innovations to save, develop and use the labour and production potentials of the company in a more efficient way. The main idea of the methodological approach to organizing the innovative production management is that the increase in the efficiency to manage the production at a coal company in order to increase its competitiveness is possible by integrating the administrative approaches of the production and innovative management. The research was based on a set of scientific methods, which includes the system and structure-functional analysis, generalizing and structuring the initial statistic data, graphic analytical modelling, expert survey, economic and mathematical modelling, correlative and regression analysis and other methods.
