A história da arte em movimento
This study analyzes the movement in the works of two art historians: Aby Warburg and Georges Didi-Huberman. To this end, it proposes problematizing movement in three aspects of their research. First, we approach the movements of forms through the concept of Pathosformel. For this purpose, we analyzed the movement of the accessories in the painting Euterpe by Rodolfo Amoedo. Next, Nachleben bases the discussion. Based on The Portrait of a Princess of the House of Este by Pisanello and a set of portraits of Maria Teresa of Spain produced in the circle of Diego Velázquez, we discussed the movement of time. Finally, montages were addressed as a way of operating. The associative movements of images were placed concerning the painting The Butterfly Hunter by Berthe Morisot. The butterflies compose each proposed image and are responsible for closing and opening our text.
