Impact of Lamination Punching on Electromagnetic Performances & NVH Behavior of PMSM: A Comprehensive Study
This paper presents a comprehensive study on the impact of punching on the electromagnetic characteristics of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Machine (PMSM), with analyses conducted on both stator and rotor laminations. The primary objectives are to evaluate how punching influences crucial parameters such as efficiency, iron losses, cogging torque, torque ripple, control angle, back electromotive force (EMF), and noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) behavior. Through detailed analysis, this study aims to offer insights into the influence of punching processes on PMSM performances, facilitating the development of optimization strategies for enhanced machine efficiency and reliability.
