Low Carbon Factors in the Optimization of Consistent Transport Routes: Case Study of China
This paper optimizes the carbon emissions, routes, and costs of consistent transportation from the perspectives of economic benefits for transportation companies, social benefits, and the personalized needs of customers, aiming to select the optimal solution.Considering the differences between various transportation modes and vehicles, an analysis and comparison of the operating and maintenance costs of transportation vehicles are conducted to determine the unit transportation cost and carbon emission per vehicle.Under the constraint of time windows, a route optimization model is constructed that comprehensively considers transportation costs, transhipment costs, time costs, carbon emission costs, and risk costs.Analyzing the transportation situation from Chongqing to Shanghai, the optimal transportation routes, modes, and vehicles with and without considering carbon emission costs are identified and compared with the current basic transportation route from Chongqing to Shanghai, providing a basis for the selection of transportation companies.Furthermore, in line with the trends of carbon emission reduction and timeliness, the study investigates the impact of different carbon trading values and time windows on carbon emissions, carbon costs, and total costs.
