Versatile Nanostructures of ZnWO4 for High-Performance Energy Storages Needed Supercapacitor and Applications in Falling System

Nanorods of zinc tungstate (ZnWO 4 ) have emerged a viable group of material for electrodes for supercapacitors as well as future energy storage devices. This study highlights the distinct structural and electrochemical benefits of ZnWO 4 nanorods by reviewing recent developments in their synthesis, characterization, and electrochemical performance. A simple hydrothermal method is used to successfully create unique ZnWO 4 rods-assembled nanoflowers (ZWO-NRFs) that are coated on nickel foam (Ni foam). At 89.47 m 2 g −1 , the ZWO-NRFs have a high specific surface area. The as-synthesized nanostructures examined in 2.5 M KOH aqueous solution show excellent electrochemical performances, with a high rate of retention cyclic stability of 95.80% for 1000 cycles at 20 Ag −1 and a specific capacity of 1198 Fg −1 at 1 Ag −1 . Energy storage devices can benefit from the dynamic nature of distinct binary metal oxide nanoarchitectures. This study also explores the synergistic effects of hybridizing ZnWO 4 with conductive materials and discusses current challenges and future directions for application in fall protection devices.
