Application of Deep Learning Networks for Brain Cancer Detection
This paper investigates the role of deep learning in advancing brain tumor diagnosis using MRI scans, with a focus on cutting-edge methodologies and their clinical implications. A number of prior studies using artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms for tumor detection are analyzed. The current paper proposes an optimized convolutional neural network (CNN) model to enhance diagnostic accuracy. Trained on a publicly available dataset of brain MRI images, the model demonstrates robust performance, achieving high validation accuracy. Moreover, challenges in deploying deep learning for medical imaging are discussed. The paper provides actionable recommendations for future research.
