Reconciliation of Correlated Measurement Results Under a Constraint on the Domain of Possible Values in the Form of an Ellipse
The development of computing technologies and digitalization of production have increased the number of measurement objects with identified mathematical models that link, among other things, the values of the measured quantities. Due to this information, the results of joint measurements performed on such objects can be refined through the reconciliation procedure (co-optation of known information). The report presents a closed analytical model for reconciling correlated measurement results based on ellipse-shaped constraints on possible values of the measured quantities and co-option of a linear model of the object. The paper shows the corresponding expressions for calculating the refined estimates of the values of the measured quantities.
