A Heterogeneous Polarization Reconfigurable Broadband Antenna Design
In order to enhance the adaptability of wireless devices in a variety of application scenarios, the antenna needs to integrate a variety of functions. This paper introduces a coplanar waveguide-fed heterostructure polarization reconfigurable broadband single antenna is designed to achieve broadband polarization reconfigurable antenna by a heterostructure ring structure with two PIN Diodes. The simulation is carried out using HFSS tool and verified in comparison with other fabricated antennas. The antenna results in FR-4 material with the size of 35 × 27 × 2 mm3 and the overall structure is simple and easy to fabricate. The three modes are analyzed and compared in terms of resonance frequency, axial ratio and so on. The overall has 1500 MHz ultra wide-band bandwidth, which can realize the reconfiguration of the antenna RHCP/LHCP/LP three polarization states, which is suitable for wireless communication and S,C-band radar.
