Research on the standard system architecture for technology-driven UAV swarms

This paper elaborates on the typical applications and advantages of UAV swarm operations, summarizes and refines the key technologies of UAV swarms, and establishes a UAV swarm technology architecture. Using a comprehensive design approach, the study aims to support the development and utilization of UAV swarms. Based on the swarm technology architecture, the research highlights group characteristics, downplays individual drone standards, and considers the entire lifecycle of UAV swarms. The proposed UAV swarm standard architecture includes four primary modules: general basic standards, technical standards, operational standards, and management standards, further divided into 21 secondary modules. Based on the current state of UAV swarm technology and standards, seven recommendations for UAV swarm standard development are proposed.
