Prescribed Performance Control of Active Suspension System
This paper is concerned with the active suspension control with unknown dynamics and road surface position. To improve the ride comfort characteristics of a vehicle, a pure prescribed performance control strategy is put forward in this paper. The controller does not involve the model information of the plant, but does not invoke the tools for parameter identification, function approximation, data driving or iterative learning. It achieves the stabilization control of the active suspension with the predefined performance requirement and improves the ride comfort of vehicle suspension to a certain extent. An experiment on a active suspension is conducted to illustrate the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed approach.
