Unique Art of Hiding and Recovering Secret Information from Digital Files
Steganography, the practice of concealing secret information within other files, is an ancient technique that has been employed for centuries in fields such as military, politics, and espionage. In the digital age, steganography is widely used to protect sensitive data during communication, preventing interception by unauthorized parties. This technique involves embedding a hidden message within digital images, videos, audio, or text files without altering their appearance or functionality. Only individuals who know the embedding method can retrieve the hidden message. Various algorithms and techniques, including least significant bit (LSB) insertion, spread spectrum, and phase encoding, have been developed to implement steganography. Each method offers different advantages and disadvantages regarding data capacity, security, and robustness. This research focuses on analyzing hidden information within text or data files.
