Research on fault analysis method of PEM electrolytic water hydrogen production system based on K-means

The energy crisis has made hydrogen energy a global focus. PEM water electrolysis, a highly efficient and eco-friendly hydrogen production method, has significant application potential. However, faults in PEM electrolysis systems can destabilize operations and reduce hydrogen production efficiency. Therefore, fault analysis and diagnosis research is crucial. This paper proposes a K-means clustering-based fault analysis method for PEM systems. The system collects real-time data and applies the K-means algorithm for analysis and classification by using an STM32 micro-controller system. This system enables early fault warnings and precise localization. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the method in analyzing and diagnosing faults, and providing robust support for system maintenance and optimization.
